- University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum
The UW-Madison Arboretum's mission is to conserve and restore Arboretum lands, advance restoration ecology, and foster the land ethic. The Web site includes a monthly calendar of events for the public. The Earth Partnership for Schools Program pages offer a woodland plants database and habitat restoration guide, information on summer institutes for teachers in restoration-based environmental education, curriculum ideas and a photo gallery of schoolyard restorations. The site has a photo archive of native prairie, savanna, woodland, and wetland flora and fauna found in the Arboretum. The Naturalists' Notes archive provides a record of the Arboretum's native habitats through the seasons.
