  • Childbirth method consisting of three proven methods working together. Two are from meditation science and one is from mind/body medicine. The methods encourage nervous system healing, immune system vitalization, and noninvasive labor pain management. Introductory seminars and certification trainings are offered in various West Coast hospitals (www.CalmBirth.org). The method was presented in a workshop at the 12/03 APPPAH congress and two sections of the Calm Birth book have been published in the APPPAH journal.
