- Circumpolar Agricultural Association
The Circumpolar Agricultural Association (CAA) is a non-governmental organization concerned with northern agriculture science, practice and policy. It was founded in 1995 on the ideas of the 1st Circumpolar Agricultural Conference which was held in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada in 1992. The objectives of CAA include: to organize Circumpolar Agricultural Conferences; to encourage the exchange of information, material and technology of agriculture and rural development in circumpolar areas; to circulate a newsletter for agriculture and rural development in circumpolar areas; to establish and maintain relations with other organizations whose interests are related to the objectives of the Association.
