The FASEB Summer Research Conferences area a continuing series of inter-disciplinary exchanges between senior scientists, post-docs, students, and industry individuals. Conferences are divided into small groups of experimental biologists who meet intimately and without distractions to explore new approaches to those research areas undergoing rapid scientific change.

Minority Access, Inc. will host the Fifth National Role Models Conference, “Resources to Tap to Close the Gap,” September 18 – 20, 2004 at the Hilton Washington Hotel. Unique in its kind, the Fifth National Role Models Conference will unite representatives from major research universities, community colleges and historically black colleges and universities to address the issue of health disparities - illnesses that disproportionately affect minorities.
