The Centre for Mountain Studies
In August 2000, the Centre for Mountain Studies (CMS) was established at Perth College in Scotland, one of the 15 partner institutions of the UHI Millennium Institute. The Centre is the first of its kind in the UK. Through research, consulting, teaching, and outreach, its aim is to be recognised globally as a centre of excellence on issues relating to sustainable development in mountain regions.
